Advanced Directed Studios
In-depth study in the student's area of concentration under the direction of a faculty member in that area. These tutorials are designed for junior and senior art majors who have completed 12 credits of studio work. Exceptions to this policy are made only with departmental permission.
Subject matter for directed studies is arranged through close consultation with one's advisor. Advanced directed Studio projects in ceramics, 3-D design, and sculpture have been offered, but are not limited to:
Ceramics: wheel-thrown ceramics, ceramic sculpture, glaze formulation.
Sculpture: welded and constructed forms, casting media, carving media.
Three-Dimensional Design: furniture design, jewelry and small metals, papermaking, fibers.

Senior Show
Participation in a Senior Exhibit with emphasis on selection and presentation of creative work. Includes all aspects of show preparation, including portfolio production, publicity, opening reception, and Advisory Board Critique.
