Some object to the Biblical creation account because the first 3 days occurred, having morning and evening, before the sun was created. According to scripture, however, light was created on day 1, though the sun was not its source. Light is all that is needed to have day and night. Some even interpret Revelation 21:23 as saying that we will not need the sun's light forever, because Christ's glory will give light to the heavenly city.
