Mormonism says the broad way leads to a kingdom

Mormonism teaches that most people--even murderers who reject Christ--will enter into one of three kingdoms, even the worst of which is "better than our current earthly life," and that there are "few people" who will "inhereit no glory" (according to the Plan of Salvation). Yet Scripture is clear that the many are destined for desctruction, and few find eternal life.

13 "Enter through the narrow gate, because the gate is wide and the way is spacious that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. 14 But the gate is narrow and the way is difficult that leads to life, and there are few who find it."Matthew 7:13-14

So which is it? Do many find destruction, as Scripture says? Or do many find at least a telestial kingdom, which has a glory "which surpasses all understanding" (Doctrine and Covenants 76:89)?
